HSSC GUIDE

Written Exams Guide

Be neat, write legibly.

FBISE rules require you to use one ink throughout the paper, either blue or black. Prefer blue, as it appears more neat!

Draw as many diagrams as you can. Label each one properly. An unlabelled diagram is not worth the time spent drawing!

If something can be explained in a flow sheet, do that... and then explain it in the standard format too...

Always start detailed questions from Introduction. Give some background information, and then answer the question.

Practicals/Vivas Guide

Vivas & Practicals are not so tough if you have been regular in the practical classes, don't miss them!

Complete your notebooks regularly, it saves a lot of time and hassle at the end.

Remember! Learning observations and reproducing them in the exam may lead to troubles!!! Some examiners may be clever enough to change the expeiment settings, and the results should be according to that scenario, rather than those mentioned in your notebook ;)

If the procedure is correct, and results are not, you will get the credit... if the procedure is not correct, and results are correct, you will NOT be credited...

Viva is usually related to the experiment you perform, its theory, practical implications, etc.

FEW DAYS BEFORE THE EXAMS

This is not the time to learn new things!

Revise everything you have learnt, even if you think you know it very well!

Sleep early the last night before the exam... sleep is more important at this time than study...!

Don't sleep like this cartoon, sleep properly ;)
